Post-election violence in a multiparty Kenya (1992-2007)" argued that
ethnic tensions alone are insufficient to explain the brutal and
protracted nature of post-election violence; rather the increasing
expansion of the political sphere of activity beyond the control of
the central government is a key driver.
Amandla views leadership as a call to service, and has been assionate
about leadership development long before being selected as the
(youngest!) representative to draft the Casablanca Declaration
presented to the UN in 2003. She was elected as President of the
Global Summit of the Congressional Youth Leadership Council in 2006
and named a Global Scholar in 2008. Most recently, Amandla co-founded
