Youth
of Transmara, Chepalungu and Narok South have been trained to work within
their communities and disseminate information on the necessity and pace of
reforms and youth voices on the reform agenda. These trainers were selected
by the youth groups to which they belong in their respective areas.

is working with the Provincial Administration, the District Peace Committee
and community representatives on a peace caravan in Transmara. The area is
prone to eruptions of inter-ethnic violence around cattle theft, natural
resources and inequitable distribution of public resources.
Uwezo Kenya has partnered with SmartCitizens to cover Bomet and Chepalungu
districts in the National Assessment for the Annual Learning Assessment Report.
SmartCitizens will coordinate the project in the mentioned districts, whose
ultimate goal is to improve the quality of education.
