is passionate about nurturing the youth and helping them make positive contributions
to the society. With this in mind, SmartCitizens has developed reforms clubs
in various Secondary schools .The sole purpose of the clubs is to be able
to expose the youth to real life challenges that exist in the society.
In
a bid to find out the causes of conflict and come up with home-grown solutions
SmartCitizens has carried out forums in Trans Mara East and Trans Mara West
where opinion leaders and community members attended.
InformAction an non-profit media company with a focus on social Justice has
partnered with SmartCitizens to provide civic education on the International
Criminal court process commonly known as the Hague
The government through the deputy prime minister's office and minister for
local government formed a taskforce to collect views from people of Kenya
on the management of the devolved government.
